At CIBC, we are in business to help our clients, employees and shareholders achieve what is important to them. Our ability to create value for all CIBC stakeholders is driven by a business culture based on common values: Trust, Teamwork and Accountability.
Working with CIBC makes you a part of a work environment committed to our clients, employees and communities - a place where you can excel.
Every day, our 44,000 employees help our clients achieve their financial goals, because what matters to our clients, matters to us.
This recruitment session's purpose will be to introduce CIBC business representatives, from all lines of business, to students interested in Co-Op opportunities at our bank as well as future opportunities that we have available.
Students are asked to research our organization and have an understanding of which area they may be initially interested in learning about or working with. We will be able to answer any questions the students may have regarding who we are as a bank and what we have to offer each other. Please ensure that the students are well briefed on opportunities we have available on our Students and Graduates website to better discuss available opportunities. Additionally, please ask them to prepare any questions they may have as networking time may be limited.
We also ask that students find ways to maintain relationships with the business representatives during open networking, should they both have an interest in a career opportunity within CIBC. We recommend using LinkedIn as a tool to connect and further the conversations.
Dress code: Business casual dress is recommended.
Registration is required. You may register for this event on Experience York (you will be able to sign in using your Passport York and register for appointments and events on the system).
