Career Peer Lead
Program: Kinesiology and Health Science (Athletic Therapy Certification Candidate)
Year of Study: 4th year
Favorite hobby/interests: Volleyball
Reason for joining CED and becoming a Career Peer Educator: I decided to join CED as the Career Peer Lead to further develop my leadership skills and deepen my connection to the York University community. I find great joy in helping other students navigate their professional journey. I also wanted to evolve my own career related skills, which was possible by joining the CED team and working at the Career Lounge!
Career aspiration: My career aspiration is healthcare related, I am currently pursuing my athletic therapy certification, but I would like to continue my education and complete a physiotherapy masters or MD.

Program: Psychology
Year of Study: 3rd year
Favorite hobby/interests: Trying new restaurants, music, hanging out with friends
Reason for joining CED and becoming a Career Peer Educator: Helping people has always been a passion of mine. Being a Career Peer Educator allows me to help out my fellow students while being able to relate to them as well.
Career aspiration: I would like to become a psychologist and own my own practice someday!

Program: Music, double majoring in Sociology

Favorite hobby/interests: Making music, playing my instruments, reading, writing.
Reason for joining CED and becoming a Career Peer Educator: Because I would like to assist other students in relieving career-related stress as well as helping them to understand their path better.
Career aspiration: I would like to become an educator/an artist (or both, I don't think they have to cancel each other out).
