The Career Centre offers a variety of ways for you to connect with the students and new graduates. These include:
York's annual Graduate & Professional Studies Expo provides students with an opportunity to explore educational institutions and special programs. Promote your educational opportunities to York students and answer their questions about future learning options by exhibiting.
The cost of the event is $400 plus taxes and includes:
- Table, tablecloth & up to 2 chairs
- Buffet lunch for 2 representatives (if you require more than two vouchers there is an extra cost).
- Up to 2 parking passes
If you are from a graduate, technical, commercial or professional institution and are interested in letting York students know about your educational programs, one effective means might be to host an information session on York’s campus.
The fee for hosting an educator information session is $175.00 plus taxes.
To request a session, please complete the online Educator Information Session Request Form.
The Career Centre will assist you with:
- Reserving a presentation room
- Arranging for your audio visual needs
- Advertising your event: http://careers.yorku.ca/employers/promote-your-organization/
We require at least 14 or more business days to support the booking logistics for info sessions, to ensure venue and audio-visual support, and to maximize exposure through our promotional channels.
Tabling in a high traffic area is another effective way to engage with York students and showcase your educational programs on campus.
The fee is $250.00 plus taxes.
As this event is advertised to students as taking place from 10am - 2pm, please ensure representatives will be in attendance for the full duration.
To book your session, please complete the online Educator Tabling Request Form.
We require at least 14 or more business days to support the booking logistics for tabling sessions, and to maximize exposure through our promotional channels.
Booth location at these events must not impede or interfere with the booth space of other exhibitors at the fair. This includes any promotional activity such as handing out materials, the playing of music, and the setup of displays. Booth location is decided by the Career Centre and is non-negotiable.
Exhibitors are expected to arrive before the scheduled start time of the event and to remain at the event until the scheduled end time.
The York University Career Centre only permits one office or unit of an employer to participate per Career Fair. Determination of who will be permitted to attend an event will be done on a first come, first serve basis.
