Mahwesh Siddiqi
Management Consultant, Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care

Standing inches from a surgeon performing open heart surgery – this is one of the most memorable experiences of my career. I’m not a clinician, so then how did I get a front row seat to a beating human heart? I’m a health administrator. My job is to make sure health systems achieve their intended outcomes, and that patients of the healthcare system are able to receive the best care when they need it.
