TSSA

The Technical Standards & Safety Authority is a self-funded, not for profit corporation responsible for the administration and education of public safety. Throughout Ontario, TSSA regulates the safety of amusement devices, boilers and pressure vessels, elevating devices, fuels, operating engineers, and ski lifts. TSSA is not part of the government, but we report to the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services (MGCS), which oversees TSSA’s delivery of safety services and organizational performance and retains authority for the Technical Standards and Safety Act, 2000
