Have a specific job in mind but not sure how to get there? The Career Centre can help you research great opportunities, write an amazing résumé and cover letter, wow them at your next interview, and maximize social media to help you find and land a position that meets your needs. Let us help you develop the skills and confidence to get that job!

Not sure exactly what you have to offer an employer? You likely have more than you think! This workshop will help you identify and articulate your skills and accomplishments so you have great material for writing your résumé, and for talking about yourself during networking activities and interviews.

Translating a CV to a Résumé workshop (for PhD students and Post Docs)

This workshop is specially designed for PhD students and Post Docs. In this workshop, you’ll understand the difference between a CV and a résumé and how each is intended for a different situation. You will also learn how to translate your academic CV into a résumé suitable for a non-academic job search.
