Do you have questions regarding whether or not you should disclose your disability to an employer? If you decide to disclose your disability, do you wonder when and how you should do it? In this webinar you will get tips and suggestions regarding timing and method(s) of disclosure and have the opportunity to discuss your questions and concerns regarding disclosure at the workplace.

To participate in a webinar, you will need a computer (with speakers or headphones), internet access, and Adobe Flash Player (get.adobe.com/flashplayer) installed in your browser. You will receive the URL of the webinar in a reminder email after you've registered for the event. On the day of the event, you will login to the webinar and ask your questions via chat.

Registration is required. You may register for this event on the Career Centre's online system (you must sign up for an account before you will be able to register for any events on the system).

Suit Yourself: Personality and Career Choice

Find out how your personality may influence your career choices and clarify important aspects of yourself through the lens of one of the world's most widely used assessments: the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). You'll come away with an estimate of your Type but most importantly, a profile of who you are and what's most important to you in your career.

What Can I Do With My Degree?

Are you wondering how your degree may relate to your career direction? This workshop/webinar provides an introductory overview of career exploration. You will learn how the skills you are developing in your degree and the experiences you are gaining help build a foundation for your future. You will also be able to identify resources for exploring possible career options.

Who Am I? Self Assessment Game

This fun and interactive board game will get you started exploring your personality, interests, skills, accomplishments, desires and curiosities. You’ll develop your own personal profile as you gain insights into the most important aspect of career decision making: YOU!

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the interactive nature of this workshop we request that students arrive on time. The doors to the workshop will be closed 10 minutes after the start of the workshop and latecomers will be asked to register for the next available session.
