Recruiting for: Aphasia and Communication Disabilities Program (ACDP) – The Communication Program Volunteer engages in group activities and conversations with clients by learning and applying supportive communication strategies. Volunteers participate in collaboration with Speech-Language Pathologists and Communicative Disorders Assistants. Training will include an in-person or virtual site visit, accompanied by some pre-recorded training sessions. The training will teach you about aphasia and how to use alternative strategies to communicate in a virtual setting and much more. Additional training provided throughout the year. Opportunity to request a reference from professional program staff.
