Recruiting for: Thank you so much for your interest in joining the Mackenzie Health Volunteer Program. We are currently recruiting adults and post-secondary students for our Year-Round Volunteer Program! Please note that we require a commitment from all our volunteers (Student & Adults) to one regular shift on a weekly basis for at least a 6-month period. We are ideally looking for individuals with weekday daytime availabilities. Our volunteer roles are based in customer service, so you will be generally helping patients and visitors with wayfinding, general inquiries, and providing them with simple instructions within clinics. Volunteers are not permitted to be involved in any of the medical components of the patient/visitors' visit. All of our placements are developed from the lens of improving the patient experience. Volunteers are placed where we feel they will provide the most support to patients and visitors. Whether volunteers are assisting with wayfinding, registration, recreation or providing bedside visits, their role is to help provide the best possible experience.
