At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel York, we provide a wide range of different mentoring programs in the community and in schools, to young people 6 – 17 years of age. In 2021 we were able to provide mentoring and supportive relationships to over 1,700 children and youth within our 14 core mentoring programs.

Recruiting for: All mentoring programs but most specifically Go Girls and Game On mentors: Game On/Go Girls Program: This program runs for 7 weeks and is 2 hours in length. The program is all about healthy eating, active living and self- esteem! This program is for kids in grades 7/8 so working with youth has to be a passion of yours! It is a very structured program in that it follows a curriculum. Mentors between the ages of 18 – 25 years are trained to lead fun and interactive sessions over 7 weeks. You will receive a 6-8 hour training (which will be counted towards your hours)
