Recruiting for: The Live Green Toronto Volunteer program offers a unique opportunity for people of all ages and backgrounds to get involved in the greening of Toronto, learn about environmental issues, and connect with others with similar interests. The Live Green Toronto Volunteers attend events in the community and educate the residents of Toronto on City environmental initiatives. Events attended by Live Green Toronto Volunteers happen year-round, on weekdays and evenings. This volunteer opportunity offers flexible hours and you can choose which events you want to attend. Key Qualifications: • You must live, work or study in the City of Toronto. • Be at least 14 years of age. • A keen interest in local environmental issues. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Customer service, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work as part of a team. • Ability to speak a language other than English is an asset.
