ShelterBox Canada is an international disaster relief charity that hand delivers the emergency shelter and tools families need to self-recover after natural disaster and conflict.

ShelterBox is dedicated to helping ensure no family is left without shelter after natural disaster or conflict – by going where others can’t, or won’t.

ShelterBox Canada has been a part of the global ShelterBox network since 2010. We are an affiliate office located in Toronto, Ontario that raises awareness and funds to help support families around the world who have been devastated by disaster.

Recovery starts with shelter. Having somewhere dry and warm to sleep, to prepare meals and be with your family is vital for starting the long process of rebuilding your life.

Recruiting for: ShelterBox Canada Advocate (Social Media) - Virtual As a ShelterBox Canada Advocate you support ShelterBox by sharing our recent news and updates from the field. We need volunteers who will help us raise awareness across various social media platforms. Advocates are very important for getting our message out so that we can reach the most people from coast-to-coast. We are looking for people who have an enthusiasm for spreading the word about ShelterBox and can create their own content to engage with their networks, all you need is an internet connection. We are always looking for volunteers to support our mission. If you have other skills that you think could be beneficial to our organization, please let us know and we can find a role for you. We are often in need of support for our team in our National Office.
