The PharmD curriculum at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy is one of the most advanced Pharmacy programs in the world. Focusing on today’s most pressing healthcare issues, PharmD students participate in 44 weeks of hands-on experiential training and graduate with the skills, knowledge, and experience to become licensed pharmacists and deliver the enhanced scope of practice called for by today’s changing healthcare system. In addition to being taught by award-winning instructors and world-class researchers, students in this cutting-edge program have the opportunity to participate in innovative new offerings such as the combined PharmD/MBA program and may specialize in specific pharmacy areas. As part of one the largest, most productive Academic Health Science Centres in the world, the Faculty draws together experts from all branches of the pharmacy field and leverages the institutional strengths of the University of Toronto to deliver a one-of-a-kind experience to aspiring pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists.
