Session 1: Mastering Leadership Coaching 

Time: 10:00AM-10:45AM
Presenter(s): Black Excellence at York University Team (BE YU)

What does it mean to be a good coach? How can coaches save and/or change lives? This session, facilitated by Black Excellence at York University (BE YU) Student Success Mentor Leads, dives into a brief overview of the BE YU program, followed by a quick icebreaker to get our day started. To finish our session off, we will be hosting a leadership workshop titled Leadership Coaching, focusing on the core components of coaching, what BE YU offers in terms of coaching for leaders, and how to find your coaching style.

Session 2: Taking Up Space

In this session we will be discussing imposter syndrome. Join us to explore how to confidently 'take up space' in your professional life. Session 4: Employer Meet and Greet: Diversity & Inclusion Recruitment Event    

Time: 1:00PM - 3:30PM

Meet face-to-face with employers committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion! During this event, you'll have the opportunity to connect with organizations hiring for part-time, summer, internship, and fulltime positions after graduation while learning about their organization's culture, hiring practices, and how you can apply for full-time positions after graduation and summer jobs/internships in 2025.
