Job Description
The CIBC Campus Team invites you to our CPA Pre-approved Training program and Internal Audit Program virtual information session on August 24th, 2021 from 4:30PM - 6:00PM.
You will have an opportunity to network with current CPA Program and Internal Audit Program Associates and Managers, learn more about our upcoming 2021 recruitment timelines, and how to stand out as an applicant.
These events will consist of a 30-minute information session, then 1-hour of networking and Q&A with our current Program Associates and Program Managers.
Important Information:
- You must be a current student enrolled in your final year of undergrad studies or postgrad studies.
- Register for the event by submitting a resume in the "Resume/CV section" of the application.
- Please include an objective statement in your resume indicating which CIBC career program you are interested in learning about (CPA Pre-approved program or Internal Audit Program). You will be placed into networking breakout rooms according to your program of interest and eligibility during the event.

Eligibility Requirements for the CPA Pre-approved Training program:
- You are currently enrolled in your final year of undergraduate or graduate studies
- You meet minimum requirements for entrance into the CPA CATO program
- You have excellent academic results, specifically in finance and accounting courses
- Accounting or finance related work experience or academic courses is an asset
- You have a positive attitude and willingness to go 'above and beyond'
Eligibility Requirements for the Internal Audit program:
- You are currently enrolled in your final year or you have graduated recently with an MBA degree or related Master's degree
- You have a minimum of 3 years proven and progressive audit, business, or accounting experience or equivalent.
- You have in-depth understanding of Financial Services products, risks and related controls
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, FRM, CIA or equivalent are an asset.
- You have a positive attitude and willingness to go 'above and beyond'
