Zeynep Güler-Tuck
Elevate , Head of Content ProductionZeynep Güler-Tuck is a Turkish-Canadian producer and writer who is known for commercial TV, newsworthy editorial, and web series projects in collaboration with Microsoft News, Business Insider, Time Out, Lonely Planet, Corus Entertainment, and Elevate, a non-profit in the innovation space. For over 20 years, Zeynep has applied every aspect of her Communications degree to her work, which has spanned markets, industries, causes, and regions. Her content has generated views, follows, and over $1M in funds for the social & environmental issues impacting our world. Zeynep's work primarily centers on mending the leaky pipeline in STEM fields for women and girls and increasing representation in screen-based media.
Sherine Osbourne
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada/ Immigration, Réfugiés et Citoyenneté Canada Immigration  , Senior Program Advisor
Sherine (she/her/elle) is a relationship builder and engagement specialist and is passionate about people and what she does. Career development especially for young people means a lot to her. Sherine has worked with the federal government for over fifteen years in several departments: Canada Revenue Agency, Employment and Social Development Canada, Health Canada and more recently with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. Much of her career was spent at ESDC where she worked regionally in programs, corporate communications and corporate affairs then later with Transformation Management Branch at the national level. Janet Park
Sentry (sentry.io), Head of Communications
Janet Park has spent the past 15 years focusing on PR and Communications at some of the world’s most exciting tech companies and startups. Currently, she is Head of Communications at Sentry, focusing on driving brand awareness for the company in the US, Canada and Europe. Prior to this role she was Head of Communications for the Americas and Oceania at TikTok, Head of Public Affairs, Canada at WeWork and Head of Product Communications at Shopify from 2013-2016, where she led the company’s communications strategy pre, during and post IPO.Janet graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts from York University and did a post-grad at Seneca College in Corporate Communications. She currently resides in Leslieville with her husband and 3 year old son Oscar.
Lyan Khazanchi
TD, Manager, Corporate CommunicationsLyan Khazanchi graduated from York University with an Honours BA in Communication Studies. She continued her educational journey at other institutions with a post-graduate degree in Corporate Communications and Public Relations, a Master in Digital Marketing and an MBA. She has worked in several industries spanning government, gourmet, energy, healthcare tech and banking. She currently works in Public Affairs and Communications at TD Bank Group, and has been with the organization for 6 years. In her free time she freelances for small business and supports them with PR, branding and editorial projects.
Mayeesha Chowdhury
Legislative Assembly of Ontario, Political StafferMayeesha is an experienced communications and strategy professional with a foundation in innovation and tech policy, digital strategy, design, political communication, project management, and research. Throughout her career, she has applied her academic background in communications, tech and innovation policy, and the arts to take creative and effective approaches when advising organizations on building strong messaging, client and stakeholder relations, and advocacy. She is passionate about applying an equity lens to the world of technology and innovation through a strong understanding of policy and governance, as well as on-the-ground issues impacting the lives of people every day.
