Co-Founders of Swob Inc.

As the Co-Founders, we are responsible for everything. Each day is very different working on various tasks. We create strategies for employers and students, attend events and work on making Swob the best recruiting platform it can be.

What factors led you to enter your current field of work?

We are strong believers in networking. Before starting Swob, we both would attend networking events to meet as many people as possible. Informational interviews are a great way to help you prepare for the job search and finding employment.

What does success mean to you?

When an employer thinks to use Swob first, that's success to us.

If you weren’t in your current professional role, what would you be doing?

We both were in marketing and advertising before starting Swob. We both always wanted to have our own business and I couldn't imagine doing anything else. It's ok to change career paths to pursue something you've always wanted to do!

How do you build and maintain your professional network, and how has this benefited your career?

A few ways we have built our network has been through LinkedIn and attending events. Through our network, we have been able to land our first jobs and a few of the clients using Swob today. Informational interviews are a great way to get to know someone and their career journey. Once you grow your network, finding ways to stay in touch whether it's sending an article or wishing someone a happy birthday is a great way to stay top of mind. Networking is so crucial to your career journey.

What are the strategies you use to remain resilient during challenging situations?

"If you never try, you'll never know" Always have an open mind and keep pushing forward.
