Kensington Gardens is a non-profit long term care home, housing 350 residents form various backgrounds. Our volunteers make a valuable contribution to our home by assisting with many programs and services, while helping Kensington strive to achieve our vision of being leaders in promoting quality of life. We are a place where residents feel comfortable, independent and part of our community.
Kensington Hospice is a non-profit 10-bed residential hospice, providing 24-hour comfort and care to adults with life-limiting illness, and their families.
Second Mile Club is a non-profit community care program, providing on-sight and in-home services for older adults and adults living with disabilities. Our goal is to enhance social, intellectual and physical well-being.
Recruiting for: Feeding Assistant – assist residents with meal Home Area Coordinator – assist with aspects of a floor Café – manage the café sales, customer service Friendly Visitor Medical/Translation Escort – assist/translate resident/client to medical appointment or outing Life Enhancement - socialization and program assistance Pastoral Care – assist with various religious services Reception – answer phones, door, greet visitors Resident & Family Care - practical aspects of care Nutrition/Kitchen Support - Prepare and serve meals Music
