The Department of Molecular Genetics at the University of Toronto is an internationally acclaimed venue for biomedical & life sciences research situated in the heart of Toronto. Over 300 graduate students are enrolled in our top-flight research M.Sc. and Ph.D. programs. Incoming students benefit from our rotation system, which allows them to experience three different research laboratories before choosing the one that matches their interests and personality. We additionally offer quantitative and computational biology Ph.D. tracks for students with a solid grounding in the physical and computer sciences.
