Physiology is the study of the biological processes that support life. In many ways, the study of physiology expertise underpins possibilities for breakthroughs in specialized areas of study such as cell biology, cardiology, psychiatry...the list goes on.  
 
Drawing on our rich history - insulin was discovered within our Department - we offer leading edge research-based MSc and PhD programs as well as a 12-month Professional Master's in Medical Physiology focused on big data and healthcare that culminates in a work placement.
