The Department of Molecular Genetics is a premier venue for biomedical research and education. Our faculty are situated at four modern ‘nodes’ within a five-minute walk from each other in the heart of Toronto’s Discovery District. Over 300 graduate students are enrolled in our M.Sc. and Ph.D. Program in Molecular Genetics, carrying out cutting-edge research in the labs of our 100 faculty. Incoming students are exposed to the breadth of opportunities in our department via a rotation system that ensures they find a lab home that closely matches their interests and personality.
