Alumni Bio

"After being the lead prosecutor in a mock trial in grade 7, I became very interested in criminal law. I pursued this passion by taking Criminology at York and completing law school at the University of Windsor Faculty of Law.

I joined the Public Prosecution Service of Canada as a summer student and I am now a Federal Crown Attorney on the Anti-Organized Crime Team in Toronto. My practice focuses on high complexity wiretap cases involving conspiracies, large-scale drug trafficking and importing, organized crime, search warrants and emerging Charter issues. I have appeared before the Ontario Court of Appeal on a number of occasions and have conducted several jury trials. I am also a member of the PPSC Student Committee and mentor to prospective and current law students."

During the session Alumni will share:

  • Their personal career paths;
  • How their university education is relevant to their particular position;
  • The realities of sectors they work in;
  • Tips and Strategies for entering the sector;
  • Opportunities within their fields;
  • Resources for connecting with professionals in that field.
