Volunteer Fair Profile

Eatonville Care Centre

Please note: Not all employers provided information about their positions and application processes. Please visit their websites for more details.

Eatonville Care Centre is situated just across the street from the library, in a lovely neighbourhood in the heart of Etobicoke. This accredited home has served our 247 multicultural residents since 1971. Centrally located, we are just minutes from Etobicoke City Hall and Highway 427.

Our staff promote inclusion, independence and autonomy for all residents, and both residents and families praise our caregivers for their skill, warmth and compassion. We work as a team of families, physiotherapists, social workers, recreation therapists, dieticians, doctors and nurses to serve each individual.

Well-established programs such as restorative care, sensory stimulation, music and art therapy as well as Java Music and Montessori clubs enhance residents physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. The active Residents’ Council generates new ideas for bus trips and entertainment. Computers are provided for residents to Skype with families living anywhere in the world. Our courtyard features seating and a walking path for exercise and enjoyment for all.
