Youth Assisting Youth matches youth mentors with newcomer and at-risk kids, ages 6-15, in a one-on-one peer mentoring relationship.

  • Peer mentors are young adults aged 16-29 that act as positive role models to help their mentees reach their full potential.
  • Be a Role Model & have fun bonding with the youth while engaging in social and/or academic activities
  • All we ask from you is: To spend (3 hours per week) with the youth for one whole year. 
  • The youth paired up with you will have similar hobbies and interests to you. They will also live nearby to your location. We make it very easy for you to have an enjoyable time by providing chances of many trips and event.

Recruiting for: Peer to Peer Mentors

Specially interested in seeing students from these Programs:

It is for anyone that wants to make a difference and help a youth in their community. The youth have many different interests so it applies to all programs or disciplines.

Number of positions: 300

Where positions are posted: On our website you can apply to be a mentor. The positions are for mentors living in Toronto and York Region residents.

Application method: -Go to our website and fill in the application -Once you do a recruiter would email you about training sessions - You would need to provide 2 references and attend two training sessions

How to prepare: Email us and we will guide them on the process and how to prepare. There will be training sessions to prepare them. So just be open minded and show up 🙂
