Trillium Gift of Life Network (TGLN) is a not-for-profit agency of the Government of Ontario. TGLN plans, promotes, coordinates and supports organ and tissue donation and transplantation across Ontario. Its mission is to save and enhance lives through the gift of organ and tissue donation and transplantation in Ontario.

TGLN provides Ontarians with tools and supports to help them make informed decisions. Stakeholders include donor families, community volunteers, transplant recipients, healthcare professionals, faith leaders, youth and non-governmental organizations, supportive private sector companies, and governmental organizations. Everyone has a significant role to play when promoting the adoption of organ and tissue donation and transplantation.

Recruiting for: We are looking for people to either join the existing York Region Gift of Life Association Advocate Group, or to engage in individual organ and tissue donation awareness activities. Ideally, we'd love a group to form at campus level.

Skills: Anyone who believes in encouraging Ontarians to register as organ and tissue donors. There are many ways to do this ranging from organizing in person and online registration drives to public presentations at festivals, community centres and media opportunities. There is something for everyone.

Specially interested in seeing students from these Programs:

Students in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) programs. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the clinic side of organ and tissue donation.
