Hazel Burns Hospice provides Client-Centered quality end-of-life care to those coping with a life limiting illness. HBH strives to ensure that Clients are treated with dignity and respect during their journey. Our Hospice Visiting Volunteers get 30 + hours of training and provide social, emotional and practical support to Clients and their families - in the Client's home.

Recruiting for: Visiting Hospice Volunteers

Skills: Caring, compassionate, empathetic listener, able to commit to training for 30 + hours and to volunteer once per week for 3 to 4 hours - for a minimum of one year. Able to e-mail monthly hours to Coordinator of Volunteer Services in a timely manner once per month with a short update about the Client
