I practice business law - both civil litigation and transaction work and have done so both as a partner in a law firm and as a sole practitioner. In 2004 I was certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a Specialist in Civil Litigation. I was an instructor in the Bar Admission Course in the Business Law Section for ten years where I taught “insolvency”. I have been a Continuing Legal Education presenter, am a Law Society mentor, a volunteer with the Ontario Lawyers Assistance Program and the author of the Law Society’s online How-To Brief: “How To Structure the Share Provisions of a Corporation”.
