Ricardo LaskarisReference Assistant, Steacie Library, York University
BA Psychology, 2009
Before graduating from York, I studied Cognitive Science & Artificial Intelligence at U of T, and also went to library school there, completing my masters in 2004. In 2007, I started working at York, and have enjoyed it ever since. I enrolled in undergrad Psychology at York because it's a prerequisite for most graduate Psychology programs, and although I'm not doing it in my current job, counseling and psychotherapy is another career interest (besides libraries) that I am exploring. So, really, I can tell you way more about libraries than about psychology, and if you're interested in working in libraries or becoming a librarian, I'd be happy to chat about it.
