My public service career began in 1984 when I joined the Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO). While at MTO I held a variety of progressively responsible positions in several different line of business. I concluded my career with the Ontario Public Service and MTO as Director of the Windsor Border Initiatives Implementation Group where I lead a multi-disciplinary team of professionals in the day-to-day development and delivery of a new border crossing system between Canada and the United States. In 2014, I joined Metrolinx as Director of the Hurontario Light Rail Transit (LRT) project and guided the advancement of this important transit initiative closer towards delivery. In my current role I'm responsible for advancing the further planning and preliminary engineering of the Yonge Subway Extension project in collaboration with the TTC and the City of Toronto. I'm an active York University School of Public Policy and Administration alumnus and enjoy meeting and assisting aspiring as well as mid-career public servants.
