Ronit received her Honours BA degree in Criminology and Sociology at York University along with a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from the Schulich School of Business. She completed her MA degree in Criminology at the University of Toronto where she received the Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate (SSHRC) Scholarship, which enabled her to pursue research on specialized court systems in Canada. She also completed a Graduate Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution where she specialized in family mediation and completed an internship in family mediation. She concurrently worked at the LaMarsh Centre for Child & Youth Research as the Project Manager for the National Victims of Crime Awareness Week (NVCAW) and as a Research Associate.
