Ankur joined Scotia Wealth Management in June 2015 as a member of the 1st batch of the prestigious Wealth management Associate Program (WMAP) started by Scotia. As an MBA in Finance from the Schulich School of Business, York University, a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Ankur has all the ammunition required to become your own personal CFO.

With a knack for numbers and an acute attention to detail stemming from his engineering background, Ankur makes sure he understands every facet of his clients' lives in depth before creating a financial plan for them. He also recognizes the importance of a client's understanding of where their money is invested and how their portfolio is doing, and hence he creates comprehensible models and reports for them. He helps manage the core portfolio including portfolio research and modelling ensuring every client is properly invested according to their risks and objectives.

Ankur has always been conscientious of his social responsibility and found a cause to champion at Kawasaki Disease Canada where he volunteers as a Treasurer and serves on the Board of Directors. He also supports and volunteers for JDRF.

In his spare time, he loves to kayak, bike and play squash. He is very passionate about travelling and exploring new places. He is also an avid soccer fan and supports Liverpool FC religiously.
