Translating a CV to a Résumé workshop (for PhD and Post Doctorate students) @ 103 McLaughlin College Room: 205

This workshop is specially designed for PhD and Post Doctorate level students. In this workshop, you’ll understand the difference between a CV and a résumé and how each is intended for a different situation. You will also learn how to translate your academic CV into a résumé suitable for a non-academic job search.

In order to be eligible for this fantastic program you must attend this preparation session and/or a pre-requisite workshop (Stand Out At Interviews and Networking Events or Dining Etiquette). This session is suitable for all students interested in TASTE whether you have applied or been selected for the program. During this session we will discuss:

- How to make a good impression and stand out during the lunch
- Tips on what to do and what not to do during your TASTE lunch
- Thoughtful questions to ask the Alumni during your lunch
- How best to prepare for the upcoming lunch
